Donn Walklet is the president of Terra-Mar, a company located in Mountain View, California, that is currently involved in analyzing policy issues relating to and the market potential of various space activities. Terra-Mar's findings in this area could result in the financing and development of those concepts with the greatest commercial opportunity. Prior to founding Terra-Mar in 1976, Mr. Walklet received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelors of Science in marine geology from Stanford University. Between degrees, he flew as a reconnaissance pilot for the U.S. Navy utilizing sophisticated optical and acoustic sensor systems. He currently represents the commercial viewpoint of investors on the Land Remote Sensing Satellite Advisory Committee reporting to the Secretary of Commerce.
