Nan Q. Lu received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the City College of New York, and the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. She is currently working on her Ph.D. dissertation, entitled "Bubble Clouds as Sources and Scatterers of Underwater Sound," which she expects to complete by October 1990. She has authored four papers.Ms. Lu is a member of Tau Beta Pi.
