Min Jiang (M'92) received the B.S. degree in underwater acoustic engineering and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering, both from Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute (HSEI), China, in 1982 and 1985 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, China in 1989.

From 1982 to 1986 he worked at the Department of Electrical Engineering, HSEI. From 1990 to 1991 he worked at the Acoustic Institute, Academia Sinica, China. Since 1991 he has been a Postdoctoral Investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. His research interests include image and signal processing, multisensor vision systems, realtime video analysis, neural computing, and their applications in underwater autonomous vehicles.
