Suk Wang Yoon (SM'89) obtained the Ph.D. degree in physical acoustics from the University of Texas at Austin.He was Assistant Professor of Physics at Sung Kyun Kwan University between 1985 and 1989, after which he was promoted to Associate Professor, then Department Chairman. The work reported here was carried out while he was on leave at the National Center for Physical Acoustics at the University of Mississippi, Oxford, supported by the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation Fellowship.
Dr. Yoon is a member of the Acoustical Society of America.
