Timo-Pekka Jäntti

Timo-Pekka Jäntti was born in Rauma, Finland, on November 21, 1956. He received the M.Sc. degree in 1985 in communication engineering from the Tampere University of Technology. The B.S. and M.S. degrees, both in theoretical physics, he received from the Helsinki University in 1982 and 1988, respectively.

He has been with Hollming Ltd. Electronics in Rauma, Finland, since 1980, where he first worked as a Mathematician with the navigation group, then from 1982 to 1985 as a System Engineer with the multibeam echo-sounder group, and since 1986 with the R&D group for multibeam echo-sounders. From 1985 to 1986 he served in the Finnish Navy in Turku as a Specialist Engineer. His current research interests include wave propagation modeling and inverse problems.
