Daniel Rouseff (S'86-M'89-SM'95) received the B.S.E.E. and the M.S.E.E. degrees from Washington State University, Pullman, in 1983 and 1984, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1989.

During the summer of 1984, he was Visiting Engineer at ASEA Research in Västarås, Sweden. He then joined Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Seattle, WA, as a Senior Engineer in Electromagnetics and RF Systems. In 1987, he became a member of the Applied Physics Laboratory at the University of Washington (APL-UW). After completing the Ph.D. degree, he joined the Milton S. Eisenhower Research Center at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Laurel, MD, as a Senior Engineer. He returned to APL-UW in 1992. He has authored or co-authored approximately 20 papers in refereed journals in the areas of applied electromagnetics and acoustics, wave propagation in random media, and acoustical imaging.

Dr. Rouseff is a member of Tau Beta Pi and the Acoustical Society of America.
