Mark R. Fallat received a combined B.Sc. degree in physics and ocean sciences from the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada in 1997. He is currently working toward the M.Sc. degree, studying ocean acoustics in the School of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria, where his research involves the inversion of ocean acoustic fields for geoacoustic parameters.
