Maurice G. Thiele, Jr. was born in New Orleans, LA, On August 17, 1950. He obtained the B.S.E.E. degree from Tulane University in 1972.He has been employed as an Electronics Engineer at the Naval Surface Weapons Center at Dahlgen, VA (1972-1978), the Naval Oceanographic Office at Stennis Space Center, MS (1978-1985), and the Naval Ocean Research and Development Activity (NORDA) at the Stennis Space Center, MS, since 1985. At NORDA he has been a Senior Electronics Engineer in the Advanced Technology Branch.
Mr. Thiele is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana, and is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society.
