Santi Calderone was born in S. Filippo del Mela, Messina, Italy, in 1960. He received the degree (Lanrea) in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, Turin, Italy, in February 1985.

He is now working at the Polytechnic of Turin and his interests are in wave propagation.
