Jean-Guy Dessureault received the B.Sc. Appl. (Génie Mécanique) from Université Laval in 1965 and the M.Eng. degree from the Technical University of Nova Scotia in 1977.He has worked in the Metrology Division at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia since 1966 as a mechanical design engineer. He was involved with towed systems, wind turbulence measurements, CTD handling, heave compensation winch, and a wide range of oceanographic instruments.
