Michael F. Genge (S'69-M'72) was born in Chicago, IL, on June 11, 1947. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago, in 1971 and 1972, respectively.He is presently a Senior Engineer with IIT Research Institute, Chicago, IL, where he is a member of the project group which provides technical support to the Navy's ELF Communications Project. Prior to his present assignment, he has participated in numerous diverse studies involving electromagetic compatibility and interactions from ELF through the microwave frequency range.
