DjVu Installtion Instructions

The DjVu plug-in for Netscape and Internet Explorer is the primary means of displaying DjVu documents. The plug-in enables users to view and navigate a DjVu document, including the ability to zoom and pan in real time. Users may also search the text of a DjVu document on which OCR has been performed.

CD-ROM 0 contains the DjVu plug-in software for some platforms. Under the directory "DJVU" in the root CD-ROM directory, you will find directories which contain the DjVu plug-in software. Follow the platform-specific instructions for installing the DjVu plug-in.

Once you successfully install the DjVu plug-in, you can obtain detailed help on using the DjVu plug-in by clicking right mouse button after opening any DjVu document.

DjVu plug-in is relatively slow in printing the pages. This is a known issue with the software and please watch out for revisions of the software which may provide faster printing.

DjVu plug-in is continually revised by LizardTech to provide for better features. Please consult the websites LizardTech and DjVu Zone for additional information and for downloading the latest version of the DjVu plug-in.
