**Free 11' Sailboat (with some startup costs)** Built in 1981 in what was then called West Germany, this 11 foot Koralle found its way across the Atlantic and was owned by an old US Navy Sailor, who fixed her up and sold her to me in 1999 for a good price when I first learned to sail. I played with her for a few years on Mission Bay and then, I am embarrassed to say, neglected the poor thing for a few years. I am now moving away and would like to do right by her, and pass her on to a good owner, one who will fix her up and sail her proudly. What she comes with: --Boat with sail, life jacket, oars, and a few little odds and ends --Trailer Although as is she is seaworthy, she honestly needs some work, and she isn’t entirely free (what lady ever is), since there will be some costs involved with getting her legal and moved. Specifically: --DMV fees ($45 for the boat, $26 for the trailer) --The trailer has at least one, probably two flat tires. I think they run about $30 bucks and up each, depending on which ones you want, and where you get ‘em. After that, you will have yourself a boat! I don’t plan to make a dime from this transaction, and all I ask is that the boat and trailer are moved by August 1 and are legal under California law. (I am attaching a photo of her from a few years ago. Here is one that someone has taken good care of: http://www.sailingtexas.com/skorallejra.html to show you what is possible if you want to put some work into it :) )
