50-YEAR EVALUATION SURVEY

The ARCS Foundation provides scholarships to academically outstanding
United States citizens studying to complete their degrees in
science, medicine and engineering,
thereby contributing to the worldwide advancement of science and technology.

Greetings!    

We are proud to count you as an ARCS Scholar, one of 6,864 men and women supported by our Foundation, Inc. over the last 49 years.  In preparation for our 50th Anniversary Celebration, we have developed a survey to help us measure the effectiveness of our mission and direct our efforts going forward. Your responses to our survey are critical.  If you have already completed the survey as part of our control group, please ignore this message.

For your convenience, we kept the survey short, approximately 10 minutes, and responses anonymous. Please complete the ARCS Foundation 50th Anniversary Scholar Survey at no later than September 1, 2006.

The ARCS Foundation Scholars are our reason for being.  We need to hear how we have or have not made a difference for you and how we might improve our support in the future  Only you can provide that information.

Survey responses and analysis will be made part of our Long-Range Plan and all results will be made available to our 14 chapters for fundraising purposes. If you would like to receive a copy of our final report, please let us know.

Also please note that our 50^th Anniversary celebration will be held in our founder city, Los Angeles, in June of 2008. We would love to celebrate you, as well. Please use the survey form to let us know if you would like to receive an invitation.

On behalf of our 1,500 volunteer members in 14 chapters throughout the United States, we thank you for your help. We cant wait to hear from you!
