One note... wire gauge is unimportant for this. Wire insulation OD is what is needed. Scott mentioned that some of these might have PVC wire, so we need to determine exactly what wire is going to be used. Glands as drawn and printed from METech Transfer directory: 2 x 24 AWG for PG7 - wire hole diameter in gland is drawn at 1.27mm; fits 22AWG wire well 4 x 18 AWG for PG11 - wire hole diameter in gland is drawn at 2.0mm; loose with 18AWG wire [This has 22AWG wire on the box!!] 5 x 20 AWG for PG11 - wire hole diameter in gland is drawn at 1.5mm; very slightly loose for 20AWG wire. [This has 22AWG wire on the box!!] 6 x 24 AWG for PG11 - wire hole diameter in gland is drawn at 1.27mm; should fit 22AWG wire well Nominal wire diameters of Teflon wire used for test fittings: 22AWG = 1.21mm 20AWG = 1.43mm 18AWG = 1.62mm 2 x 24: Holes should remain at the drawn 1.27mm dimension. 5 x 20: Hole should be changed to 1.27mm if it is to have 22AWG wires installed (as it was in existing box) Hole should be changed to 1.4mm if it should actually be 20AWG 4 x 18: Hole should be changed to 1.6mm for 18AWG wires. 6 x 24: Holes should remain at the drawn 1.27mm dimension. Decision: 2x24 remains the same at 1.27mm for 22AWG wires 6x24 remains the same at 1.27mm for 22AWG wires 5x20 changes to 1.27mm for 22AWG wires 4x18 changes to 1.6mm for 18AWG wires Names will be changed to indicate correct wire sizes, and old files moved out of directory
