**The Schedule Folder should contain the schedules the program has put together based on the WBS and resources allocated**.

Note: This section should contain the schedules that the team is expected to keep. This section will likely have lots of revisions and updates as the program progresses and matures. The schedule should list the task, the amount of time expected to complete it, an estimated start date and completion date. Updates should be kept using an agreed upon revision number of letter system within the project. Example

Project.Schedule_1.mpp
Project. Schedule _1.2.mpp
Project. Schedule _2.0.mpp

NOTE: The updates should be clear as to minor and major change. Also, the task changes or project scope changes should be either referenced or noted somehow in this section. A record of the change and who made it is very helpful.

Note: This section and the WBS could be combined if the PM prefers to maintain things that way. Microsoft Project allows for managing the two in a simultaneous manner.

Caution: Projects will normally change on a frequent basis to some minor extent. DO NOT try to track all of the little changes on the schedule. Collect them and only record changes of significant impact. Use the meeting minutes to cover the non-critical items.
