Subject: EMI filter box
Status: RO

Bill, Here are my observations of the filter box based on your drawing
dated June 7.

1. Height of the box sides must increase by .75 inch minimum to allow a
#6 Dorn fitting to clear base mounting hardware and cover latch lip.
This will also allow mounting XSL size thruster connectors on each corner
of the box.

2. Width must increase by .75" to allow the thruster connectors to clear
the EMI filters.

3. Corners of the sides should be left square for maximum 'O'-ring seating
area.

4. All material should be aluminum EXCEPT the EMI filter mounting plates
which should be a non-conductive material (otherwise I have to use insulating
stand-offs).

5. If the length increased by 1 inch overall it would allow alot more
comnnector placement options. The filters should stay centered in the
housing.

Mark
