Notes

• Lee provided a movie file sample at ftp://ftp.hboi.edu/outgoing/lfrey/meits/.
• Anxillary data should be available at the end of the month after the EITS platform is assembled.
  • We (Danelle Cline and Brian Schlining may go out to get familiar with the EITS setup and usage during this test tank deployment.
  • Note from Lee on 5/14/07:

    Well, I think that it would be too soon to have you come out here for nour tests this month, as we will be consumed with many non-software-related issues, just getting the thing in the tank and all.

    I would suggest to meet later, and (as I understand it) the deployment has been pushed back again, so we have plenty of time. June is bad for me as I will be in Seattle for a couple of weeks, and I understand July is bad for Erika.

    Perhaps early August?

• [~erikar] is on a cruise from Aug 17th-29th. She should arrive at MBARI around 9/7.
  • She intends to ship the EITS platform to MBARI before she leaves on the cruise.
    • Where will it be stored?
  • EITS has 2 connectors: one for MARS and one for testing.
• MARS goes out around the beginning of October. Etch said that it might not be ready for science use until early 2008 though.
• Postpone setting up VARS at ORCA.
  • No one at ORCA is set to manage the annotation effort since Erika will be at MBARI.
