In AttendanceBrian Schlining, [~erika] NotesVARS KnowledgebaseErika thinks it's best to build up a modest sized knowledgebase from scratch. We may want a couple of folks from the video lab to help populate it. DatabasesThe current plan is not to modify the VARS database to handle additional datatypes, such as current velocities. Instead, all data will go into the EITS database. A standard merge will be setup between VARS and EITS for the standard VARS properties like salinity, temperature, position, etc. At some point, when Erika decides what science questions she wants to ask, we can create a few scripts for extracting the data in an appropriate format. Anxillary Data File LoadingAnxillary data will be sampled at a 1 minute period. Additional events, such as illuminator activation/deactivation, can trigger samples outside of the normal period. |
