  • PMT trigger mode still contains bugs in the code.  This should be fixed  by next week so Erika can send the PMT back for calibrations.
  • ROV pilots made frame modification suggestions for EITS deployments and recovery.  Jim Schofield is making a new illuminator mount for the white light, which will free up space inside the frame for the ROV's manipulator arm.
  • Pier tests at Cal Poly are scheduled for the week of Feb. 4th.
    • New anchor system is being developed for these tests.  Erika has discussed this new design with Larry Bird.
  • Final tank tests will occur in mid February after Cal Poly deployment and before MARS deployment on schedule.  Mike Kelly has bee notified about these plans.

Brian Schlining

  • Brian wants to know if we need VPN access to MARS servers.
  • How the MARS and MBARI firewall are configured are important issues for VARS annotation.

Duane Edgington

  • Preparing poster for ASLO presentation in Orlando, FL, early March.  May require data from Erika and Danelle for the poster presentation.
