Tech Transfer
• Lube on ball-screws--grease chosen and all will be lubed from now on
• Radio-modem box leakage--Scott to work on leaking Bruce radio box once mooring is in on Tuesday
• Status of 2nd mooring--not finished, but Scott working on today
• NEO heaters not starting unless power-cycled--issue to keep an eye on. Unclear what is causing it; possible static discharge on dwarf
• Mack hand slippage update--it's been tightened and run in the cold. No slippage. Not an ideal fix, but we don't know what went wrong initially
• Al vs. SS. on valve coupling--Aluminum is the chosen material for valve coupling
MFB
• First successful amplification occurred yesterday with a slug pulled into top of PCR module line. Addie cleaned ATV and input line #13, drew premixed slug into PCR through these; failed. Deconned and repeated yesterday's experiment. Results not good.
• Encoders. Box of extra encoders cannot be found. Cheri put in order for PO # 0810834 to Measurement Specialties for 100 encoders -- placed on 4/24/08
Software
• How to avoid vapor lock on first sample after canning the ESP?--Solution decided was to fill line with fluid, then pull vacuum using a syringe to draw bubble back out intake line. Will try tuesday when canning Mack.
• procedures for uploading images from the buoy--Brent implored the use of the 'upload' command rather than pull images directly off the buoy. Otherwise, one must wait for the hourly update of images on ESPSHORE.
• Logging and displaying processed ISUS data

• schedule CDR--set for Tuesday, JUNE 10th.
GUI development
Kevin out of town, but provided this message:
I will be returning from an OOI meeting today so I won't make the meeting. There aren't any GUI updates, but I know I have to change the GUI to output missions scripts in the new format that Brent has specified. I am shooting to have that done next week.
