About Eione

Eione is a linux VM that hosts an external database server. It is aliased using the CNAME http://dsg.mbari.org

Image files

The video labs DSG representative images are mounted from \\Tornado\videolab\VARS_Images to \mbari\dsg\kbimages. In turn, kbimages is symlinked at /var/www/website/images so that it can be served through the web server at http://eione.mbari.org/images/dsg/

Framegrabs

I haven't set up the process to copy framegrabs yet. They will be copied and watermarked into /var/www/website/frameGrabs
