About Ulikai.shore.mbari.org

Ulikai is a VM (Fedora) configured with 9GB RAM and access to a larger than normal share of CPU power. It is used to run video annotation processing tasks that are too resource intensive for standard VM configurations. The processing is run under a cronjob as the user Brian Schlining. It is currently:

  • Generating ROV effort data products for the DSG
  • Generating Annotation data products for the DSG
  • Updating the midwater transects database
  • Generating midwater transect data products for the midwater lab

The applications are hosted under Brian Schlining shred account on Atlas, in \\Atlas\brian\Applications\dsg and \\Atlas\brian\Applications\midwater-transects
