Cross Hatch panel
Use the Cross Hatch function to choose a hatch pattern to fill closed boundaries that you select. Mastercam creates one hatch entity, regardless of the number of boundaries that you select.
Select a standard hatch pattern from the drop-down list on the Basic tab. Customize the spacing and angle of these hatch patterns using the Parameters options. To define, edit, or delete a user-defined cross-hatch pattern, click Define on the Advanced tab to open the Custom Hatch Patterns dialog box.
You can use a cross hatch on notes with closed fonts similar to Arial without first converting the note to geometry. To create the note, choose Notes on Mastercam's Drafting tab, and then enter the note with a TrueType font. The default Mastercam font OLF SimpleSansCJK OC is an open curve/single stroke font, and therefore it cannot be used to create a cross hatch.
