Export to 3MF Files dialog box

Use the Export to .3MF Files dialog box to select the output format when writing and converting a Mastercam part file (solids, surfaces, and meshes) to a .3MF file format.

NOTE

You can set default parameters for conversions to and from Mastercam files and other formats in the Converters page of the System Configuration dialog box.

World coordinates

Saves the file in world coordinates.

Current WCS

Saves the file in the current Work Coordinate System (WCS).

Units

Specifies the units for the saved file. Choose from the following:

  • Current units

  • Inches

  • Millimeter

  • Meter

  • Centimeter

  • Micron

  • Mil

Resolution

Specifies how finely or coarsely the smooth surfaces and solids are triangulated. The smaller the resolution, the finer the triangulation.
