Inverting Selections
Invert Selection selects currently unselected entities, while at the same time unselecting selected entities. Specifically, the Invert Selection function works as follows:
- If no entities are selected, Invert Selection selects them all.
- If all entities are selected, Invert Selection unselects them all.
- If some entities are selected, Invert Selection unselects the selected entities and selects all previously unselected entities.
- If you invert an inverted selection, the selections revert back to their original state.
- If you invert the selection and then add or remove selected entities, the next Invert Selection acts on the currently selected entities. That is, selections do not revert to the previous state.
