Adjust Chain Settings dialog box
Immediately after you create and locate your text on a chain, this dialog box opens. Use the Adjust Chain Settings dialog box to reposition the text relative to the chain.
Parameters
Start point
Returns you to the graphics window where you select a different start point on the chain for the text string. After you select the point, Mastercam immediately redisplays the Adjust Chain Settings dialog box.
Offset
Opens the Please Enter the Offset Distance dialog box. The default offset distance—which is the distance between the base line of the text and the chain the text will be placed on—is 0.1. To change the offset, type a different numeric value (or select a previously entered value from the drop-down list) and press [Enter]. Mastercam changes the text offset and returns to the Adjust Chain Settings dialog box.
OK
Saves your work and exits Txtchain. The chained text and its geometry remain in the graphics window.
Cancel
Deletes the chained text and displays the Please Select a Font dialog box.
