Capture Images dialog box
Use the Capture Images dialog box to create additional graphics for your ActiveReports setup sheet from the view in the graphics window. Include these images in the setup sheet to highlight areas that are complex or require special attention. From this dialog box, you can enter a title or description for each image as well as add notes and drafting dimensions. Mastercam does not limit the number of custom images you can add to a setup sheet.
Parameters
Image caption
Enter a title or description for the captured image. If you do not enter anything into this field, Mastercam names the images sequentially.
Color
Select to include geometry and toolpath color with the captured image. Selecting this option in the Capture Images dialog box allows you to include both color and black and white images in the setup sheet. Select Use Color in the ActiveReports Setup Sheet dialog box if you would like all images in the setup sheet to include geometry and toolpath color.
Folder
Opens the Browse For Folder dialog box. Mastercam saves your captured images to the folder that you specify in this dialog box.
Capture
Click to create a custom image of the view currently displayed in the graphics window. You can also use your cursor to draw a window around the region to capture.
Restore
Click to return the part to its original view in the graphics window. Clicking this button deletes dimensions and notes created from the Capture Images dialog box.
List images
Opens the Images dialog box, where you can preview the custom-captured images in the setup sheet.
Delete all
Deletes all custom-captured images from the setup sheet.
File
Upload an image file from any directory into your setup sheet.
Level
Opens the Select Level dialog box where you can capture an image of a selected level to your setup sheet's image list.
Viewsheet
Opens the Select Viewsheets dialog box where you can add bookmarked viewsheets to your setup sheet's image list.
Dimension
Allows you to create and format drafting dimensions using the Smart Drafting function. Dimension text is automatically included with setup sheet images.
Note
Opens the Note dialog box to create notes and labels that are automatically included with setup sheet images.
