Placement
Mastercam provides sorting options that become available after you generate the nesting operation. Use these options to optimize the output order of the nested operations.
The post-nesting sorting options work on a sheet-by-sheet basis. Select a sheet from the Sheet (Result) list in the Nesting Results dialog box. Then click Sort to open the Selection dialog box and select operation profiles from the graphics window. Press [Esc] when you are finished to open the Placement dialog box and refine the sort.
Parameters
Before/After all operations on all sheets
Moves selected operations to the beginning or end of the job.
Before/After all operations on current sheet
Moves selected operations to the beginning or end of the operations on the sheet.
Before/After selected operation
Moves the selected operations before or after a specific operation you choose.
Set machining index
Enter the machining index. The lower the machining index, the earlier the operation is machined. The higher the machining index, the later the operation is machined.
Clear indices
Clears the machining index.
