Use the options on the Advanced page of 3D high speed Hybrid and Equal Scallop toolpaths to filter small, unnecessary toolpath segments and/or passes that might lie very close or tight against a steep Z pass.
Parameters
Remove tight passes
Hybrid toolpaths only. Enter the closest distance allowed between a shallow and a steep pass. Mastercam filters out any pass or pass section less than this distance. This setting only applies when Offset method is set to Upper to lower, Lower to upper, or Automatic. Offset method is found on the Cut Parameters page.
Remove small segments
Enter the minimum toolpath segment. Mastercam filters out any unwanted motion that is smaller than the value.
