Safety Zone Panel

Use this function panel to define the shape of a safety zone for a Multiaxis Linking or other multiaxis operation. A safety zone defines a boundary around the part outside of which the tool can move safely at a rapid feed rate. The boundary can be a rectangular block, cylinder, or sphere, or you can create a safety zone as an irregular shape that wraps closely around the geometry. You can control the safety zone's orientation, anchor point, size, and location.
