Stops page
Use this page to create optional stops (M01) or program stops (M00) in a wirepath. For contour wirepaths, you have the options to apply the stops before and/or after tabs.
This page is disabled unless you select Tabs on the Cut Parameters page.
Parameters
For each tab
Outputs a stop code before the tab cut for the first tab cut on each chain of the operation.
For first tab in operation
Outputs a stop code before the tab cut for the first tab cut on Chain 1 of the operation. Subsequent tab cuts throughout the operation do not include stop codes.
Output stop code
Outputs a stop code after cutting the tab lead in, or before cutting the tab if Make tab cutoff move with skim cut is selected.
- As glue stop: Outputs an optional stop: M01. Pauses the wire machine only when the machine's optional switch is turned on.
- As stop: Outputs a program stop code: M00. Pauses the wire machine until the operator restarts it.
- Distance before end of tab: Places the glue stop or the program stop at a distance from the end of the tab. Enter the distance in the field to the right of the option. This lets you cut partially through the tab, stop, secure the slug, and continue to complete the cutoff.
- Before tab / After tab: Places the glue stop or the program stop either before or after the selected tab.
Display list
Read-only. Lists the cuts and stops by type and in the order they will be output for each chain in the operation.
Total cuts for each chain
Read-only. Shows the sum of rough, tab, and skim cuts.
