Zoom functions
Mastercam offers a number of zoom functions you use to change your view of entities in the graphics window, including:
| Icon | Name and Description |
|---|---|
Zoom window: Magnifies a portion of the graphics window. When you use this function, Mastercam prompts you to draw a rectangular selection window around the portion of the graphics area that you want to magnify. The graphics window then fills with the contents of the selection window. |
Unzoom 50%: Restores zoom to its previous setting. If the zoom queue contains no previous setting, this function reduces the size of the displayed geometry to 50% of its current size. |
Unzoom 80%: Reduces the size of the displayed geometry to 80% of its current size. |
Zoom Selected: Works only with pre-selected entities. Automatically scales the entities you select to fit the graphics window. |
You can use the mouse wheel any time—without selecting a function—to zoom and unzoom the contents of the graphics window. You can zoom faster by holding down the Shift key and by scrolling your mouse wheel.
