Join Entities panel
Use the Join Entities function to join collinear lines, arcs that have the same center and radius, or splines that were originally created as the same entity.
Use general selection methods to select a line, arc, or spline. Then, select an entity of the same type and press [Enter] or choose the end selection function in the Selection Bar.
You cannot join unlike entities.
The Fill gaps option creates wireframe geometry to connect entities and combines entities with common endpoints. In most situations, you would want to keep this option selected. Clear the option when you must select multiple entities but you only want to join those with common endpoints. This will join those entities while leaving entities with intentional gaps unjoined and unfilled.
In this simplified example, there are two solids separated by a very small gap. You can easily select all entities in this file and clear the Fill gaps option to repair the split face on the blue solid while preserving the gap between the two solids.
In this situation, keeping the Fill gaps option selected would produce an error in the grey solid upon regeneration.
