Smooth: Spline dialog box
Use the Smooth, Spline dialog box to reduce or increase the default amount of smoothing when using Raster to Vector. Smoothing reduces the number of lines and arcs and results in a smoother outline of the image.
Use the slider to increase smoothing (move right) or decrease smoothing (move left). Click OK to accept the smoothing level once you have set it.
NOTE
- Too much smoothing reduces the accuracy of the original image.
- If you smooth the geometry several times, you can only undo the results of the last smoothing.
