Overview

Collaboratively annotate data with your internal team.

  • Setup a project and invite collaborators.
  • Import data processed by the MBARI Sliced Detection and Clustering Toolkit sdcat formatted csv files.
  • Load your data into Tator, a web-based media management and annotation platform for image, video, and audio data.
  • Annotate data with labels and verify the quality of annotations.
  • Filter and annotate localizations in bulk with the Tator UI or the Bulk REST API.
  • Export data for training machine learning models.

Filter

You can change localizations one media at a time, but the most efficient way to filter is through the Analytics tab which allows you to filter by cluster, by mission, by Label, size, saliency, etc.

If your data is clustered, you can filter by cluster. Filtering depends on the manner in which the clustering was loaded, e.g. by version or by collection (e.g. mission). This depends on the nature of your data.

Select Analytics (upper right)

Once in the Analytics tab, select Localizations.

Once in the gallery, you can filter by cluster, by mission, by Label, size, saliency, etc. Filter parameters are specific for each project.

Bulk change localizations

For more advanced changes to large collections in bulk, there is an API available at http://mantis.shore.mbari.org:8001/docs. This is recommended for changes greater than 1000. Check out the Bulk Change by Media Name and Cluster guide for details.
