Video Annotation and Reference System (VARS) Query

The VARS Query is a MBARI tool designed to search, filter, and explore observations collected from ROV dives and other deployments. This version was released in November 2025 for internal use for staff.

We encourage users to explore the interface, try different query options, and share suggestions or issues you encounter. Your feedback will help refine and improve functionality, usability, and performance ahead of the development of an external VARS Query beginning development in 2026.
