Connection¶

Dial keeps a list of websocket servers to connect to.

Channels for connection¶

The actual connection to the websocket server is done with the channel names indicated in the deployment definition.

Repositioning the mission display¶

This is done using the "wrt" (with respect to) dropdown menu.

Mission script editing¶

The loaded mission scripts can be edited, saved, and downloaded.

Any syntax errors are reported as the script is edited.

Base images¶

Specified as part of the deployment definition, base images can be selected for display on the map, each with a desired opacity.

Position history¶

Using IndexedDB, Dial keeps a recent history of latest positions and heading per platform in the browser. This allows to restore the trails on the map upon a reload of the application.
