Analyze Distance Along Curve dialog box
Use Analyze Distance Along Curve to determine the distance between two selected points. To use this function, follow the steps below:
- Choose Analyze, Analyze Distance Along Curve.
- Select the entity to measure (line, arc, spline, or edge).
- Move the first marker to the starting point of the segment to measure.
- Move the second marker to the ending point of the segment to measure.
Parameters
Units
Specifies the measurement units used to display values in the dialog box. You can choose from the following:
- Inches
- Feet Inches Decimal
- Feet Inches Fractional
- Millimeters
- Centimeters
- Meters
Precision
Specifies the numerical precision with which values are displayed in the dialog box.
Distance
The distance between the two markers.
Start angle
The angle on the curve represented by the first marker.
End angle
The angle on the curve represented by the second marker.
Sweep angle 1
The selected angle between the two markers.
Sweep angle 2
The unselected angle outside of the two markers.
