Roll panel
Use the Roll function to form chained geometry about an axis as though around a cylinder or reverse existing rolled entities to make them lie flat. Mastercam breaks the entities relative to an angle tolerance and then creates new geometry consisting of a line based on the breakpoints. The rotation axis is relative to the current tool plane.
How can I control the exact point at which the rolling starts?
- Click the Select Angle button to the right of the Angle option.
- Select the start point on the geometry that you want to roll.
- Select the rolling start point on the diameter about which to roll.
