Line Closest function
Use the Line Closest function, located on the Wireframe tab, to create a line between two entities at the closest intersection.
When you enter this function, no dialog box or function panel appears but the create line closest function is active and you can create one line. When you select the second entity, the line is automatically created as a fixed entity and the function is discontinued.
NOTE
- To use this function, you must have at least two existing entities (lines, arcs, or splines) in the graphics window.
- AutoCursor is unavailable during the use of this function
